Some kids played video games. Some learned instruments. I built a towering archive of magazines. BMX, art, fashion—you name it, I stacked it. My mom tried to toss them more times than I can count. “You don’t even know what’s in these!” I did and I could recite the cover stories, the standout ads, and every weird little design quirk that made them great.
That obsession with visuals and storytelling stuck. It led me into photography, then brand building, then leading creative teams. I’ve shaped brand identities, launched campaigns, and broken down silos older than some of my coworkers. I thrive in the space where strategy meets instinct—where creative isn’t just cool-looking, but actually does something.
I also make a mean cup of coffee. And if you ask nicely, I’ll tell you which brands have the best magazine ads of all time.
